Assault Mode: from the first estimate to the final duel

Discover Quizadero Assault Mode: four estimation stages to claim the map, followed by duels for your rivals' territory.

In Assault, you don’t choose where to place your fortress. The system randomly assigns the three players’ home regions, and the race for the rest of the map begins. You have four stages in which your estimates can win you territory. Then war begins, and you have to defend what you’ve claimed.

Four stages where estimates shift the borders

In each conquest stage, all three players answer a numerical estimation question. The player in first place chooses two territories to occupy. The player in second place chooses one territory.

Your fortress is worth 1,000 points. Each territory claimed in these four stages is worth 200 points. Coming first can therefore bring you two regions and 400 points in a single stage. Watch where those regions lie, too: their positions can open or close routes once the war begins.

Conquest ends. War begins.

After the four stages, players can attack their rivals’ territories. The attacker and defender answer a question with four options. If both answer correctly, an estimation question breaks the tie.

Each territory taken from a rival in this phase is worth 400 points. Winning a duel can move the border and turn the score in your favour. Choose your attack carefully: the region you take matters, and so does the route it opens next.

The capital has a special rule. You can attack it only from the second stage of the war onward, and only if you control a territory directly adjacent to the region containing your rival’s capital. To reach the fortress, you first have to make your way to its border.

The points decide the winner

The player with the most points at the end of the match wins. If scores are tied, one final estimation question settles the standings: the player in first place receives 100 additional points, and the player in second receives 50.
